The Canterbury Youth Ballet Trust was formed in 1992 to encourage dancers and promote dance in the community.
The Trust's mission:
To provide performance opportunities for young dedicated dancers. Enabling them to gain the knowledge and artistic experience they will require if they choose to become dance professionals. These affordable, high quality performances enrich the programme of arts in Canterbury, by enabling a greater cross-section of the community to experience live dance and theatre.
Where possible the Trust also provides financial assistance for graduating dancers who travel overseas to continue their training.
