The Canterbury Youth Ballet Trust was formed in 1992 to encourage dancers and promote dance in the community.

The Trust's mission is to provide performance opportunities for the dancers which encourage professional development and enable them to share their talent, knowledge and enthusiasm for dance with the community.

Where possible the Trust also provides financial assistance for graduating dancers who travel overseas to continue their training.

The Youth Company has limited scholarships available on application or by audition.
